Why every company should not be Apple

Perhaps you are wondering this topic, but remain firm hold on the chair, because I hope to make my point clear throughout the text for you, dear reader. - I love music, I think it was the first thing I fell in love since I can remember, there are so many different types of sounds, genres, tone of voice, drummers, guitarists, bassists, trumpeters, etc.. As I was developing as a teenager I was identifying myself with the different types of sounds, which I identified over the course of my 13 years was the Rock and Roll, I heard the tapes from k-7 my mom rock bands or she had Radio listening Paralamas do Sucesso, Titãs, Nirvana, Gun's and Roses and more.

But then something changed, a friend introduced me to a clip, which at that time we only had MTV for this, but with the advancement of something called 'internet' in Brazil was changing it, so he made the download the video for a band called 'Linkin Park'. Dude, that was awesome, the music was 'Crawling', was very different from anything I've heard so far. The timbre of the voice of Chester (lead singer of Linkin Park) was unique, was hoarse in a moment and in another was quiet, then Mike Shinoda shows up a rap with a good letter and then Mr. Hahn came with sensational remixes! That was great! It was new to me and so began the success of Linkin Park. I think every teenager has passed the stage where all your friends start to learn the guitar. This happened to me, lol. I began to learn the guitar and fell in love thing, (I found a little difficult but worth it) I could afford only two guitar lessons at the time, then a school teacher told me that we must be careful not to try imitate the artists we like, it applied to me because I was trying to sing like Chester when he played the 'Crawling' on the guitar, since I play using my voice even, which was more authentic (and more fun for me too .)

But you should be asking 'What does this have to do with Apple?'. Well it is simple, Apple has undergone a major transformation, becoming the most valuable company in the world, that thanks to its products: smartphones, tablets, notebooks, itunes, etc.. And services: iCloud, purchasing music and videos from iTunes, updates and more. Which is great for any company. But it's been a while I see several companies trying to do the same thing and end up forgetting who they are, what is their culture, their values with both its employees and its customers. And that is sad.

If there is one company that I admire is Google, the quality of its services and its various services, Gmail, Google Search, Images, Reader, YouTube, Blogger, etc.. But the culture of the company, always innovating and creating services that change people's lives. But unfortunately I see that long ago she has tried to 'become' the Apple. Not only Google but also other companies, you just see the number of employees who are leaving the company, the number of services being discontinued, trying to copy services and products, not only Apple, but Facebook also.

What I want to leave here is something very simple, reason for living is not always the best choice. For that I will give you an example (my philosophy teacher gave me): There are two stacks of hay equal in weight, height, color, smell, everything. Which are separated so that the marking in the middle equally dividing the distance from one another for hay. In this markup you put a donkey in the middle, which was also separated from one hay to another. Then you say to the donkey, "Donkey, using only the reason, logic, choose one of the stacks of hay. '. Understand that there is no way to make a choice just using reason, logic, or sometimes we have to do what moves us, moves us, moves us by the passion, the love of doing that, just as we do in our lives Logically, we should use reason to guide us in various situations of our life, we should not only use it for that.

The same is true in the corporate world, not always the company that earns more, the richest in the world, is synonymous of success, that you and your company will succeed copy it too. Each one is unique, no business is like any other, no one is equal to another, companies are made of people, characteristics, different thoughts and dreams. What makes each of us unique, it is wonderful to be you, be recognized for who you are, not because you are more or less like this person or this company. In the world of technology is what drives us to innovation, continuous improvement of processes and products, but copying is not innovation, it's only copy.

Sincerely,
Valter Henrique.
